And people saw, Oh, hey, who’s that? You know, what is that? Oh, it’s a band. It’s so and so, you know, like, this is one of the bands I listened to. And it was great way for people to market in a very economical way. Um, and so I love that. I love when people come in and order stickers from us and want us to make stickers for their business or for their band, or for whatever it is. Um, I do podcasts. I have stickers for my podcast. Um, I, you know, design different stickers for different things. Um, so I really just love stickers. Um, so if you ever want to come in and order stickers or talk about stickers, give me a hollerer. I’m Chase. I don’t think I’ve ever said that in here. I’m one of the, uh, employees at Highway Man signs, and if you want to order some stickers, be down to take some stickers.

I would suggest a two inch by two inch or three inch by three inch sticker is typically the size of sticker that you would want to go for. It’s, uh, big enough that the design looks good, Um, not overly big to where, you know, you’re limited to where you can stick these things. Um, and so, yeah, love me some stickers. So come order some stickers from us. I know I talked earlier about the process of the sign of how, you know, to put, put an order through and things like that. Um, but I think one thing that’s good to note is with anything, the more complex the sign is, the longer the production time is. So that’s one thing to take into consideration when ordering out Highway Man signs, is the fact that you need to ao for that time. Uh, small things like decals, banners, yard signs, things like that typically, uh,

Typically are about a week turnaround. Um, things like a panel signs or what we consider non lighted signs can take, depending upon if the supplies that we source are readily available, which typically they are take anywhere from two to six weeks for completion. Now, when we start getting into things such as acrylic letters, channel letters, sign cans, things like that, lighted signs they can take anywhere from, uh, we, we typically say three to eight weeks. Very rarely do we hit the eight week mark. Um, but we do occasionally get those. What we would like to do, you know, is, is we, we want to make sure that we can meet the deadlines that you, that you need. One thing that a lot of people don’t know about, and really you really don’t need to because not a sign business, um, is the permitting process. Most towns, most cities, most things have some type of permitting that you have to have for signage.

Hey thanks for joining us, this is the Highway Man Signs podcast your best Tulsa Sign company in the Tulsa, Bartlesville, Skiatook and surrounding areas here in Oklahoma. Now, for Bartlesville in the downtown area, we have two. There’s the Bartel city of Bartlesville, and then there’s the downtown design, um, which is basically a second permit that we have to do. We also need to allow for time for that permitting process to go. So basically what, with that type of signage, especially for commercial signage and things like that, even a lot of towns, even if you’re just refacing, if there’s already an existing sign, you still have to have a permit. You need to allow for that time. Typically, that time can take anywhere from a week to three weeks. What I’m noticing right now is about 10 days. So, you know, two week, two business weeks, 10 business days or so, uh, we’re able to get those back. Now, that is something that you need to take into consideration because we don’t move forward with the production until we have that permit approved.

The last thing we want to do is we get into the process. You’ve paid your half down for a sign. Let’s say it’s a, it’s a $3,000 sign. You gave us $1,500 to start the process. We get the permit, start the permitting process. Now there’s a hold up. We ran into this situation, um, with a client of ours recently where bought a new, uh, property, going to put a very nice sign on, uh, the property, but come to find out he didn’t have enough room from the right of way for the city to be able to do this. Now, there’s a couple of things that we can do. We here in Bartlesville, every case is different. Um, sometimes we can go and ask for an exception at like a city council meeting or something like that where, hey, you know, are we willing to, are you guys willing to say, Okay, this is an exception to the rule that we have, or things like that, which getting scheduled out for that can delay that out for, you know, another month if that gets approved.
