Uh, today we’re going to talk about branding and branding is a very, very important, uh, for any business. Um, branding really talks about, um, it gets, it gets kind of your visual identity and it’s kind of how you spread your message of your business, whatever, wherever, whatever it may be, whether it’s a church, whether it’s a school, um, whether it’s, uh, you know, instead of business, obviously, um, it’s an insurance agent, whatever it is, branding is huge. Um, and in influencing your customers or your intended buyers to come talk to you, uh, to, to, uh, perceive how they perceive you your business since you went branding is, um, or how I’ve always seen Brandon, he is it’s, it is creating a unified look to all of your advertising materials.

And what’s great about, like I said, high man size is that we, um, are capable of doing a long, long list of different signage and branding materials for your company. And you want a simple, um, but yeah, unified branding for everything that you do. So you want to come up with a great logo, something simple that stands out that something to do with your industry. Um, and that makes sense that is obviously pleasing to the eye. Um, not very busy and, um, you know, works for your company. Um, and sometimes people want something that is very personal to them and you know what, that’s fine. If you can work that in, but remember you don’t necessarily want something that is completely goes against what your company does. Um, you know, a lot of people want to, um, actually, you know what, I misspoke there. I want to clarify something, a lot of companies use something that doesn’t have anything to do with their company.

How is it going? I’m gonna to use Geico for an example, obviously, um, the whole idea, they came up with the get-go is that Geico sounds like Geico gecko sounds like Geico. Um, but anymore you don’t, they’ve actually, they’ve taken time to build that branding identity. So they show Geico and I have the little gecko standing there and you just associate with it, you see it, you understand what it is. That’s the whole idea. It’s a visual identity. Um, so you know what, if you’re a auto repair shop and you want to have a dog as you know, your logo great, but you’ve got to create the identity around that. Why is there a dog there, you know, is he in a mechanics outfit? Has he has something like that? You know, and that’s great. And you get to realize branding takes time. Branding takes time.

Think about that. You have the reason that the guy go get works is because they took the time to build that in. Now he comes on the screen, you know who he is. He doesn’t even have to talk about guy, but he will. And you understand that it is because it’s taken time. You have been conditioned now to recognize that, get, go, realize who it is and be like, oh, that’s gotta go. That’s that’s the insurance people, Geico actually started as the government insurance. It was for government employees. That’s what it stands for. It stands for government employee insurance company. And I think G E I C O as exactly what it stands for. And, um, but eventually it was bought out. It was sold and bought out by a private sector. Uh, you know, so it’s, so it’s a privately owned company now, as I’m sure they have shares and stuff, but, you know, um, and um, they front and say, how can we make this sound a lot simpler?

You know? Um, that’s kinda what I’m not going to get into this history of Geico, but do you understand, um, behave, you gotta take time to build that branding identity. So here’s the thing. You can change your logo every year. You need to hire a professional. You need to hire someone like us. I don’t mean signs to design your logo and stick with that for years over years, because it takes time to build a brand. You’ve gotta understand. Sometimes you need to start over and that’s when you would change that, um, look at McDonald’s you can see the golden arches, you know what it is. They only have to say, McDonald’s you I’ve seen, I seen the McDonald’s of the day. Didn’t have McDonald’s anywhere on the outside of the building, but they had the M they had the golden arches you saw. I know what it is.
