Um, like when we do a rap, I prefer to do it in the summer and pull it outside and let it sit out there. Um, we’re we live here in Oklahoma. We get a lot of sun, especially, you know, in the, in the summer months, may, June, July, August, and, um, we’re, you know, temperatures can range anywhere from 90 to over a hundred degrees. And, um, so sitting outside letting it warm up and then going out there and stripping is going to be so much easier than trying to pull it into the shop in the shade and use heat guns, or torches or whatever, to warm up the vinyl and get it all off it. You’re talking about, I’ve stripped a car outside and just a couple of hours, um, and taken a couple of days sometimes inside, uh, using heat and trying to strip everything off.

Um, and also how long the vinyl has been on the vehicle or sign or whatever can also make a huge difference. Um, you know, you’re talking about a, that, that vehicle that I had stripped in a couple hours, I had only been on her for a year. Um, and I’m talking a full vehicle wrap. I completely stripped it in only, only about two hours, uh, but it only been on there about a year. Um, and we use removable vinyl to do that. Um, and it came off just fine. So, um, yeah. And then again, um, the, the other vinyls can take a lot longer. You can have, you have to use, um, uh, we use, uh, we use a citrus cleaner to get the adhesive off, but, um, yeah, so that’s kinda, that’s kinda just a quick segue into, uh, how to remove vinyls. So thanks for joining us. Uh, we’ve been talking about non lighted signage. I just kinda did a quick segue into, uh, how to remove vinyls and, and, uh, vinyl letters off signage, but, uh, I’ll probably do a full on podcast on that, uh, here soon. Um, but yeah, non-audit signage out. We’ve kind of talked about, uh, kind of like different types of letters. Um, I mentioned, um, like plastic, uh, preformed letters, what these are basically, you make a, um, we order these, we don’t do these in house, but, um, basically what the company does is they make a form and they put in a, a sheet of plastic and basically melted into this form, uh, which makes these nice, um, lightweight, um, plastic letters. Um, and they can do various, obviously various shapes. Um, you kind of limited on the sizing, um, but that’s okay now I laser cut acrylic, um, or some are routed, some have machines that are, that are actually do it, do a router and do a physical cut instead of a laser cut. But, um, these are, uh, just, they just put a sheet in and cut it out, clean up the edges, and basically they’re ready to install. Um, and then of course there’s cast metal letters where it’s these again, you had to make a form and they literally pour, they superheat the metal materials and they pour this end to make a cast, um, you know, letter, uh, whatever it is or logo. Um, so there’s lots of different, um, options. As far as that goes, they can look very, very classy. Um, the, like I said, it just depends on what your look is and what kind of finish you want if you’re just wanting a plastic letter or on a critical letter, those are the least, um, least expensive. Um, they can also look like I said, they look very, very good. The plastic form letter has more of a rounded edge. Uh, uh, acrylic cut letter has more of that crisp, um, very, very nice crisp, flat edge. I F if that’s what you’re looking for and they are, they’re less expensive.
