Uh, last time we talked about, uh, no wall wraps and all the different uses for those and this time we are gonna S we’re gonna talk about window graphics. Window graphics are, um, probably one of the most common types of signage for most businesses. Um, any, anything that has a storefront that has, you know, obviously large windows, small windows, whichever you have. Um, what’s really cool is, uh, not all window graphics are created equal, and we’re going to kind of talk about the different types. Um, again, thanks for joining us. So I said, we’re going to be talking about window graphics and the different types, uh, kind of the simplest and kind of the, uh, you know, the standard is, um, you know, cut vinyl. Um, vinyl is a, any time we talk about vinyl vinyl, such a large kind of umbrella term for so many different products, but in the sign industry, when you’re talking about vinyl, um, that is anything it’s like an adhesive back that we put into, um, a vinyl cutter and we cut out shapes, or we cut out lettering into, and we weed out the excess and throw that away. That is vine. A lot of people come in and they they’re talking about, they want a vinyl sign and they’re talking about a banner and we’ll get into that stuff later.
And some of our later podcasts, but basically anytime we talk about vinyl, we’re talking about an adhesive backed product that we will cut out and stick to a surface, uh, whether it be a sticker or a decal or whatever. So just want to kind of make sure we cleared that up. But yeah, so kind of the entry level, uh, window graphic is obviously, uh, vital, most times you’ll do cut letters. Um, obviously you can do this in a variety of colors, uh, generally even under simpler logos and letters with that. Um, also you can do pinstriping design and all sorts of stuff. Um, it’s not just, just have to be letters. Yeah. And, um, yeah. Uh, so you can do it, you can totally do a big range range of this we’ve done where we’ve covered almost the entire window, uh, you know, with lettering and logos and vinyl and things like that. We’ve also done it to where, you know, we’ve just done smaller stuff. Like we just did a, uh, we just did an ice cream and bakery shop. Uh, we did a really nice classy logo and we didn’t gold metallic. So it really had that kind of old world, uh, classic, um, kind of ice cream shop, uh, feel to it. It was very nice. It’s very classy, very boutique looking. Uh, and basically we just did like baker, you know, we just did the things that kind of really popped out at what they do. Like, you know, we did a window, had like six different windows. And so we did ice cream, one window and a bakery on another, um, you know, baked treats on something else, you know, those types of names. I can’t remember all exactly, but the different kind of main things that they do and that they wanted to showcase. And at the bottom of each window just had their logo. It was just as simple as called aunt B’s and they just had a simple circle with a nice fancy be in there and had it at the bottom of everything kind of at the signature. And it looked really nice. It was on a, um, a small town up in Kansas. Um, you know, just had a class of look and they did, they really did a great job on the hand side and making it nice and boutique and, um, uh, really, uh, just a really nice place. And that’s, what’s cool about the vinyl is that it’s classic. Um, you can do minimal, or you can do a lot with it. You know, we could have put pinstriping around the windows because I’ve done a little corner pieces. Um, you know, there’s, there’s, there’s so many different things we can do. We, we have covered entire windows, uh, with vinyl because, you know, some people don’t, they don’t, they don’t want the light to come in. Maybe they’re maybe they’ve done some construction inside and they’ve covered up that window. And now you see the ugly wall on the other side of it, and they want to cover that up. We’ve done that. Um, so, you know, there are definitely obviously ranges and options that we can do on there. And our kind of philosophy at highway man is, uh, we don’t want to say now, you know, so if you’ve got an idea, um, just ask us, you know, we’ll work it through, they may not be the best option for you. Um, you know, I feel like you get a picture in your head of what you want your business to look like and what you want your business to portray. And I think that is, I think that’s unique to you and unique to your vision, and we want to help make that happen for you. Um, kind of another, uh, kind of one of our newest and most popular styles of window graphics now is, um, uh, it’s called the brand name that we normally use is called clear focus. But, uh, it’s also referred to as a perforated window film. And basically what this is, is it is a film that has little perforated holes in it that let light in. So that way you can actually see through it from the backside, but not through the front.

And this effectively gives you a way to cover up windows, but still be able to utilize them, uh, as when it was obviously, as you can see out now, this is not a miracle product or anything though. We do try to be miracle workers around, uh, at have a man. But, um, essentially it’s, it’s just kind of creating a screen and you’re putting something on the front of it that is kind of, it’s kind of an optical illusion where your, your eyes are too busy trying to read or see what’s on the front of it to actually look through. Um, now if you use darker colors on there, it is easier to see through. Um, so if you use blacks or things like that, you’re basically, it’s not really gonna work also at night. Um, if it’s you have the lights on, on the inside of the building, you will be able to see through it because now it’s lighter on the inside of the building rather than on the outside of the building.

Um, but it’s a great, uh, product for if you’ve got a storefront and you’re really wanting to like put some big signage on there. Cause a lot of places, a lot of towns have, uh, ordinances against larger signs, billboards, things like that. It’s like if you’re really wanting to take that to the next level and really put some signage in the front of your building, perforated window film might be the way to go. Because most places I have yet to find a town where there is a, um, there’s an ordinance against it, whether there’s any kind of permitting involved or anything like that. So again, window graphics can be a loophole around stuff like that. If you have a strict city code, um, for signage. So this could be something that could really, uh, be to your benefit. Uh, again, as far as the design, things like that, you can make something where it’s like, you can do something different on every window you can create with a clear focus.

Look, you can make the entire front of your building. Um, you know, one giant sign. We did that for a local gym, cloth fitness, um, where they’re in a, and then the older, um, shopping center basically. And, um, they’ve got, oh my gosh, I’m trying to think. It was like, uh, it was like 150 feet of windows. I mean, these are giant windows, six foot by eight foot in some places. Uh, and we covered the entire front of theirs. So it was easy to see from the outside exactly how big their section was. Cause they had actually rented out like four or five different stores and expanded their gym. And, uh, it looks great from the outside. It’s got, it’s pleasant, all of that, but not only that, but they put their logo or whatever on her, but they put, um, their, their, their prices. Uh, they put their different, um, features that they carry as far as like massage room and, and that type of stuff. And it was a really, really great, a really good look.
